This book is a really good read and perfect to curl up with on a cold winter's night. Daniel is sexy and mysterious and Isabel gets herself into a pretty bad situation, but that doesn't stop the sparks from flying between this couple. An isolated cabin in the woods and two people who can't leave, the tension is high and the sensuality is abundant. The love scenes are steamy and will leave readers breathless. Diana Hunter has done an excellent job of penning a story full of tension and passion that readers won't be able to put down.

From the very beginning CABIN FEVER is addictive, I read the entire story in one sitting. Isabel's stubbornness and determination endear her to the reader. Daniel's gentleness and take charge attitude, especially in a man his size is a huge turn on. Add to that, the fact that he's an extremely dominant male and you have a man worth fantasizing about long after you finish reading. The plot is fast paced, action packed, filled with sexual anticipation, and contains a hint of paranormal. The mystery behind the dreams is fascinating and an interesting distraction from the intensity of the characters. Diana Hunter depicts the emotions behind each of the character's actions beautifully so that you feel an attachment for them. This is the perfect book to read on those cold winter nights when you're stuck inside, it gives a whole new meaning to the term "CABIN FEVER."

Cabin Fever by Diana Hunter is a tasty winter treat full of tension and hear-warming tenderness. Both Isabel and Daniel are the type of wholesome folks anyone would be proud to claim as a friend; even with their sexual quirks. The beauty of the setting just brings home completely how love can grow between two people forced to rely upon each other for survival and what comfort there is. Ms. Hunter adds a lot of old-fashioned twists that you do not normally see in a tale set within a contemporary timeframe. Yet, they fit so perfectly that they simply become the background against which Isabel and Daniel dance around each other. I appreciate that Ms. Hunter did not leave the building of trust to innuendo and the reader's suspension of disbelief; but she built it stone by stone within the framework of her story. Cabin Fever is definitely worthy of being kept around for another read or five when you need reassurance that gentle giants have not become an extinct species.

Ms. Hunter's Cabin Fever brings together two strong, lonely, damaged people in an isolated location and opens their hearts. Daniel tries hard to be gruff and makes it clear that Isabel's presence is an unwanted intrusion into his privacy, but his tender care of her when she's injured, his sense of humor and the blazing sexuality he keeps leashed until she gives him the go-ahead prove he's a good man who deserves to be loved. Isabel is tough and adaptable, making the best of the situation she finds herself in, pitching in to make their survival easier and finds that even though she's a city girl used to her conveniences, she can thrive without them if she has the right man by her side. Hunter's characters leap off the pages; their passion doesn't erupt, but evolves with their relationship as they move from being unwanted roommates to perfectly attuned lovers. Cabin Fever is a moving love story that you won't mind being snowbound with.
