"Ms. Hunter has created a sexy, sensuous, seductive story. From the first line I was panting at the passionate personality of Tania. She is not afraid to be as sexy as she wants. Her characterization is also smart and witty. She is a woman I would long to be. Jim is a sexy, sensitive alpha even if he does read Tania's motivation for sex completely wrong. His dominance is as addictive as chocolate. The dialog between the two characters flies and quickly draws you into their world so that you are the only one gazing in on their moment. The sex between Tania and Jim starts as a delicious slow burn. Through Ms. Hunter's words you visualize every heated touch, breath and lick. The emotional development of the two characters is what takes this book from 5 to a Silver Star story. The emotions sizzling inside both Jim and Tania turn the slow burn building on the pages into a four alarm fire. Jim pushes Tania from her preconceived ideas of sex and displays a compelling dominance through gentle whispers and soft touches. Ms. Hunter uses her writing to show the confusion, need and surrender of both Tania and Jim. I was very satisfied at the conclusion of the story but immediately had to read it again and again. I recommend Hooked for the Silver Star Award for the delicious delightful plot, the addictive juicy orgasmic lovemaking and the fantastic emotional bond that develops between Tania and Jim. This is short story you do NOT want to miss. Read it once and you will be Hooked!

"Hooked is fabulous! Tania is the kind of woman we all aspire to be...strong, sexy and confident. She pleases herself and doesn't worry about what other people think of her. But because she's also choosy, she hasn't had a relationship in a long time. Jim is a hunky, alpha man. Although he initially thinks Tania is a hooker, he still treats her like a lady. By the time he realizes that she could be perfect for him sexually, he's already hurt her tremendously. I enjoyed watching him squirm and make amends, but he definitely turns the tables on Tania. Their sexual encounter is steamy and stimulating. Jim wants to teach Tania to control her urges by trusting him and in return gives her more than she ever dreamed of. I thoroughly enjoyed this sizzling, short story of a chance encounter, mistaken impressions and sexual exploration! "

"My first thought after finishing HOOKED by Diana Hunter is this book is the perfect summer read. With a light humorous storyline that flows fast while reading this newest tale of mistaken identity is perfect for an afternoon by the pool. But be warned, even though you may be giggling thru the afternoon don't take this story lightly, the heat between Tania and Jim is definitely squirm worthy and may cause numerous dives into the deep end by the time you are through. I am so happy to say that Ms. Hunter has never disappointed me in the past with any of her books and HOOKED is no exception; it will definitely be added to my ebook reader must keep list. "

"Hooked is a short gem that keeps the reader "hooked" from the start. Albeit the story only revolves around one afternoon in the life of the characters, Tania and Jim are very well portrayed. The way in which the BDSM subject is introduced into the plot was very realistic, not the standard of "woman with submissive fantasies looking for a master".
This was my first book from Ms. Hunter but with such a convincing proof of her talent, I will have to check out more of her work."
