Learning Curve is a quick drop into the world of BDSM and power exchange. Samantha is an extremely intelligent woman who knows what she really wants but years of "training" have taught her to be a "good" girl. And "good" girls are not tied to beds spread open for a man's viewing pleasure. But there is just something about Peter, his confidence, his commanding presence, which eases her into giving him exactly what she wants. My only complaint is that this story was too short. Oh it didn't really leave me wanting but I found myself wishing to spend more time with these two intriguing characters and their power plays. Learning Curve is a great story for those who are just delving into the BDSM world and a quick read for those already "tied" to it.

LEARNING CURVE is a great short story written by Diana Hunter. It is told through the eyes of Samantha, but Peter's inner self is revealed through his actions and words. Samantha and Peter are obviously suited for one another and take their relationship slowly and carefully, even though they are both filled with desire and passion for the other. While LEARNING CURVE is a quickie, the characters are thoroughly written; their romantic and erotic actions are sexy and hot.
Romance and sensuality are merged together very well throughout the story, and though the BDSM content pervades a lot of the book, it only enhances the storyline and its eroticism. I recommend this story to anyone looking for a steamy, quick read with romance.

An erotic short story, LEARNING CURVE takes you to a place where a woman who has accomplished much with her life, is still afraid of who she really is. A passionate woman who has thoughts of being tied up and at the mercy of a man, but afraid to act upon those desires. Sensuality radiates off the pages as we watch Samantha struggle to decide to go forward and grab her heart's desire or shrink away and keep those desires hidden. I couldn't stop turning the pages once I started reading. It's a definitely an amazing erotica story.

Five Hearts from Angie (March 2004) at Love Romances
LEARNING CURVE takes erotic fiction to a new level as Ms. Hunter explores the feelings of a girl who considers herself alone in her unusual sexual desires. In a world where leather, bondage, dominance and submission play a small hidden role, Sam needs an outlet for her desires. Ms. Hunter has written a novel filled with sexual tension and brought it to life with emotion, as Sam realizes she is not alone in her passions and longings......This is the epitome of great erotic fiction in my eyes; I feel Ms. Hunter has created an outstanding novella.
